The possibilities are endless with this festive block print. Each block is repeated twice in mirror image. This allows you to make two-sided quilted ornaments, pillows or pot holders with the Christmas design on both sides. Stitch the mirror image blocks together or add a border to make ornaments or potholders. Add batting or fiberfill stuffing, hand or machine quilt around the design and the borders through all the layers. Hang ornaments with ribbon. Use the blocks to make mini-quilts or pillows, Use fusible web to iron the blocks to tea towels, sweatshirts or aprons. Blanket stitch the outside edge of the block. Fuse a block design to card stock to make a Christmas card. Use a double or triple row of blocks and add some borders to make a table runner or place mats. Use two widths of fabric and make a Christmas table cloth. Make a gift bag by sewing one block, right sides together, to a lining piece with batting. turn and finish. Repeat with a second block. Quilt each block. Blanket stitch the two blocks together around the sides and bottom. Add a fabric handle. Use the blocks as pockets for an advent calendar. Line them with a solid color and sew them around three sides, leaving top open, onto a background fabric that is quilted or backed with fusible batting or interfacing. Attach a ribbon or trim to hang.
